Subject: Request to declare holiday on “Magha purnima”, the birth anniversary of BHAGWAN RAVIDAS, the founder of “RAVIDASIA” Religion and revered deity of 20 Crore Chamar Community residing in cities and villages all over India.

 

Honorable Sir/Madam,

            Many veterans took birth in the soil of this country and spent their life for welfare of the humanity. The government of India gives them due honour by declaring public holiday on their birth anniversaries and this is the culture and tradition of this country.

To preserve the Indian culture and tradition, public holidays are declared on the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Mahavir – the founder of “Jain” religion, biith anniversary of Bhagwan Buddha – the founder of “Bouddha” religion, birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, Mohammed Paigambar and Guru Nanak – the founder of “Sikh” religion, to honour these great venerated idols.

            Similarly honour may be bestowed to “BHAGWAN RAVIDAS”, founder of “RAVIDASIA” Religion, by declaring National Public Holiday on his birth anniversary on “Magha Purnima”.

            We earnestly request you to consider the demand and sentiments of 20 crore Ravidasia (Chamar) community living in cities and villages all over India and honour “BHAGWAN RAVIDAS”, the founder of “RAVIDASIA” Religion, by declaring public holiday on his birth anniversary on “Magha Purnima”.
